Socks.pngOne well know area for odor-causing bacteria to feed off your sweat and produce odor, is your feet. As you increase your activity your feet begin to sweat. In this situation, an untreated sock can become a 2nd platform for bacteria growth allowing for bacteria growth in your shoes. As the sweat penetrates your sock and begins to dampen the lining in your shoe, it provides food for bacteria that may be present.


To combat this, Sciessent offers Agion® Antimicrobial for the treatment of socks. When socks are enhanced with Agion® Antimicrobial they are able to fight and resist the growth of odor-causing bacteria on the treated surface. So while you are still producing sweat, the growth of bacteria will be hindered with Agion® Antimicrobial.
