Sciessent Awarded U.S. Patent for Innovative Pilltec™ Anti-Pilling Fabric Technology

Sciessent is proud to announce the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 12,366,031 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This newly granted patent covers Sciessent’s proprietary Pilltec™ anti-pilling technology for fabrics, textiles, and articles of manufacture.
The patented Pilltec™ technology is an aqueous-based, polymer-forming composition that enhances the durability and anti-pilling properties of treated textiles. Suitable for a wide range of materials—including natural fibers, synthetic fibers, and blends—Pilltec™ delivers long-lasting protection and maintains performance even after multiple wash cycles.
